The design study has begun

Yesterday I enrolled in an online interior design course with The Interior Design Institute. My first assignment is to find 3 interior spaces that portray different moods. This is how I'm getting on so far.

The reason I've enrolled in this course is that I have a vested interest in design. My husband and I enjoy doing up houses and I want to get better at it. Our current house is just about to undergo major repairs and I will be completely overhauling the interior. So far we have put some stunning new curtains in our daughter's room because there weren't any there, courtesy of James Dunlop Textiles. I'm looking forward to going in this week to look at some more.
